May 26, 2007 - In a copyrighted article by Randy McConnell, published in the June 2007 edition of the Jefferson City Business Times (picture at left), special mention is made of the successful effort by Associated Industries of Missouri to pass the landmark AIM/TRIM manufacturing inputs sales tax exemption.The first line of the article says, "...Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM), the state's main manufacturing lobby, struck gold when it gained passage of its top tax priority, an exemption from state sales tax for utilities, chemicals and materials used for production."
